2019 Code Updates and Code Compliance:  Information and Guidance from DSA, OSHPD, Local Jurisdictions, and Quality Assurance and Quality Control Professionals

The first part of this seminar will complete our series of code update seminars, with representatives from DSA and OSHPD speaking on their changes to the 2019 CBC code amendments.  If your building projects are from the education or health care sectors, you will not want to miss these speakers.  They will cover the key code revisions that will affect your designs submitted January 1, 2020 and beyond.

The second part of this seminar will feature two speaker panels.

The first panel will consist of plan review professionals who offer perspective from the plan review side of the building permit process, and provide information on how to ease or accelerate the plan review process.

The second panel will consist of local testing and inspection professionals. The testing/inspection professionals will discuss their roles within the building process, how they work with the needs of engineers, and how they can provide quality and relevant data to the project professionals.

Panel participants will give short talks on vital information within their field, followed by a question and answer session. Questions will be provided by a moderator and the audience. If you have a great question for one of our panels, please do not hesitate to email it to [email protected]

This seminar will provide insight and knowledge about new code requirements, plan review, testing, and inspection, and help professionals to work together effectively and efficiently.
